Finally I can run reasonable distances again without ending up limping...and have discovered the joys of cold water and ice on my ankle after going out. Its actually been a bit of a revelation, as its really made a difference to my post-run well being. The worst part is definitely in the anticipation, and in after about 30 secs or so, the offending parts are so numb that you feel no pain - all good stuff.
So why the latest interest? Its now 5 weeks until Garburn, and when checking the route this morning, I found this:
